I keep my business overhead low and client base small so that I can give excellent care and charge fees that are below industry averages. I am currently near capacity of the amount of clients that I choose to serve (200). If you are in search of an adviser in the following areas, contact me by email or phone:
- Helping you identify goals in the areas of financial freedom, education savings, insurance, legacy planning and whole-life stewardship. I provide a process towards achieving those goals. My goal is to encourage clients towards excellence in the use of money, abilities, time and health.
- Offering fee-based accounts that charge less than industry averages. I follow a disciplined, institution-like investment process for clients that includes exposure to nine asset classes: large company stocks; small-mid company stocks; international stocks; real estate; fixed income; inflation-protection bonds; absolute return strategies; commodities and cash reserves.
- For clients who are interested in aligning faith with finances, I offer managed accounts that invest with a biblical worldview- screening out companies that profit from abortion, pornography, gambling and other ethical concerns.
- Providing expertise in small-business retirement plans; charitable giving strategies; pension evaluations; tax consequences and/or asset protection strategies.
If we are a good match, I will give you the option of paying for my services by an hourly fee or a combination of fees and commissions on investment assets. I cap my annual fee in order that those who have larger asset pools are not paying a disproportionate share of fees. This has saved some clients a significant amount versus other Wall Street firms. I am developing a network of stewardship-minded financial advisors around the U.S. that I can refer you to if we are not a good match.
I consider the responsibility of giving advice to be a crucial stewardship. I pray daily for wisdom to give counsel that is true and practical. I center my financial advice around five biblical principles:
- Look out for my client’s interest (Philippians 2:3-4)
- Focus on big-picture, eternal priorities (Matthew 6:20)
- Eliminate debt and build up cash reserves (Romans 13:8)
- Diversify assets to manage risk (Ecclesiastes 11:2)
- Stay Organized (2 Kings 20:1)
